In the heart of a bustling community, Glenn and Penny found themselves at a crossroads in December 2021. They had dedicated years of their lives to a small family-owned storage company, where they not only worked but also lived on-site, fostering a sense of belonging and stability. However, when the family decided to sell to a large corporation, they were assured that their jobs were secure. Just a week before Christmas, amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, the corporation abruptly terminated all employees across its seven locations, leaving Glenn and Penny in a state of shock and uncertainty. With their lives turned upside down, they were incredibly grateful to friends who opened their home to them, allowing them to stay with them for which they stayed for seven months. During this time, they transformed their hobby of laser engraving into a business venture. With the laser engraver set up in their friends' basement, they launched PNG Engraving, pouring their passion and creativity into every project. Nearly four years later, they reflect on their journey with gratitude, as their small business continues to grow, supported by a loyal customer base that has become like family. Through faith, resilience, and the kindness of others, Glenn and Penny have turned a challenging chapter into a story of hope and success.
